# Events

 

## JUNE SCHOLASTIC RECRUITING EVENTS

High school boys basketball players will have the opportunity to develop their skills and showcase their talent in front of college coaches through a series of events hosted by state high school coaches associations and high school athletics organizations across the country. 

The events must be certified by the NCAA or the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Per NCAA legislation, events must occur at an educational institution (e.g., middle school, high school, college) other than an NCAA Division I institution. By early April, the list of approved scholastic summer events will be posted on the [NCAA](http://www.ncaa.org/) website and on the [NFHS](https://www.nfhs.org/) website.  Download the full brochure here:

- June 19-21, 2020 (Friday noon – Sunday 6 p.m.)\*

This will be the ONLY event college coaches will attend during this evaluation period. The NCAA covers the travel and lodging of each participant and one designated chaperone.  Download the full brochure here:

Players must be registered with the Eligibility Center.

- Once registered, visit ncaa.com/collegebasketballacademy.
- Click “Nominate Myself.”
- Complete and submit the nomination form

NOMINATION PORTAL OPENS: DEC. 1, 2019 (TENTATIVE)  
NOMINATION PORTAL CLOSES: MAY 8, 2020  
WAVE 1 OF INVITATIONS SENT: FEB. 1, 2020  
FINAL WAVE OF INVITATIONS SENT: MAY 22, 2020
